Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a type of talking therapy which looks at your current thoughts and beliefs and sees how these effect your behaviour, confronting those that you want to change and looking for other thoughts and behaviours to replace them, which are working for you, rather than against you. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) can be done on an individual basis or in groups with a councellor or therapist, or can be done by yourself by following a book, CD or online course.
