
Stressless (75 Herbal Tablets)
Stressless is a herbal remedy traditionally used for stress and nervous tension associated with the changing demands of modern life.
Also provides:
- Progressive relief of mild anxiety
- Relieves nervous strain while giving up smoking
Stressless contains four natural relaxants for effective relief from tension and anxiety:
- Hops
- Scullcap
- Dry extract valerian
- Dry extract vervain
Stressless Directions:
Stressless tablets should be swallowed, with water if preferred.
Adults and elderly: Take two tablets three times a day
Children 8-12: Take one tablet twice a day at the discretion of your doctor.
For withdrawal symptoms while giving up smoking: Take three tablets three times a day.
Do not exceed the stated dose: If you have taken too many tablets you may experience drowsiness. If this happens, stop taking Stressless.
Each Stressless Tablet contains the following active ingredients:
- Hops 45mg
- Scullcap 45mg
- Dry extract valerian (5:1) 20mg
- Dry extract vervain (3:1) 30mg
The tablets also contain the inactive ingredients: sucrose, talc, potato starch, magnesium stearate, kaolin, titanium dioxide (E171).
Do not use Stressless Tablets if you are:
- Sensitive to any of the ingredients
- Pregnant or breast feeding
- Under 8 years old
Although significant adverse interactions between Stressless and other medicines or foods are extremely unlikely, such interactions are theoretically possible and so if you are in any doubt about taking Stressless you should talk to your doctor or a pharmacist.
Although there have been no confirmed cases of significant adverse interactions between Stressless and other foods etc, complications of this sort are theoretically possible:
- Caution is therefore advisable, as Stressless may possibly increase or decrease the effect of blood pressure lowering drugs or treatments for epilepsy.
- Also, if alcohol is consumed with Stressless the effect of hypnotics or sedatives may be increased and the action of antidepressants and medicines used to treat major psychiatric illness may be prolonged.
- If you are in any doubt about taking Stressless, you should ask your doctor or a pharmacist for advice.
- Particularly in combination with alcohol, Stressless may theoretically prolong the effect of anaesthetics. Tell this to the doctor, dentist or nurse if you have been taking Stressless (or consuming alcohol) and are going to have any procedure or operation requiring an anaesthetic.
- Taking Stressless may theoretically reduce reaction time, especially in combination with the sedative effects of alcoholic drinks.
- If you experience any of these effects, do not drive or operate machinery.
Although there should not be any significant undesirable effects when taking Stressless, if you encounter any complications, stop taking Stressless. If your symptoms persist talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
