Tiger Balm is an ointment which gives temporary relief from minor muscular aches and pains.
- Tiger Balm White Ointment can also be used for the treatment of tension headache
Tiger Balm is an ointment prepared free from animal fats
Tiger Balm Directions:
- It is important to use medicines as directed
- Avoid excessive use in pregnancy and lactation
- Not suitable for use in children under two years of age
- Always follow the instructions in your own product
Rub Tiger Balm gently on the affected parts of the skin as necessary: Usually 2 or 3 times a day.
White Tiger Balm can also be used for tension headaches: Rub a small amount onto the forehead or temples using a circular motion. Repeat after 30 minutes and after 1 hour.
- Do not apply near the eyes
- Wash hands immediately after use
If your condition does not improve after two weeks or gets worse, seek medical advice.
Red Tiger Balm Ointment contains (%w/w): Natural Camphor 11.0%, Menthol 10.0%, Clove Oil 5.0% and Cajuput Oil 7.0%.
These ingredients are in a base which consists of: Cinnamon Oil, Dementholised Mint Oil, Yellow Soft Paraffin and Hard Paraffin.
White Tiger Balm Ointment contains (% w/w): Natural Camphor 11.0%, Menthol 8.0%, Clove Oil 1.5% and Cajuput Oil 13.0%.
These ingredients are in a base which consists of: Dementholised Mint Oil, Yellow Soft Paraffin and Hard Paraffin.
Before using Tiger Balm:
- Do not use if you are sensitive to any of its ingredients
- Do not apply to wounds or to damaged or irritated skin
- Keep away from the eyes and mucous membranes
- Do not bandage tightly
- Tiger Balm is for external use only
- Do not use as an inhalant
- Tiger Balm is not suitable for use in children under two years of age
- Avoid excessive use in pregnancy and lactation
- Red Tiger Balm may stain clothing
Side-effects: Tiger Balm may occasionally cause irritation to the skin including application site rashes. If this occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
