
Transvasin Heat Rub (80g)
Transvasin Heat Rub Cream provides rapid, effective warming relief from rheumatic and muscular pains, aches and strains. Transvasin Heat Rub is a topical analgesic cream to relieve pain by causing the skin to redden and warm with the rubefacients contained in the formulation.
Transvasin Heat Rub Directions:
- For topical use on the skin
- Use sparingly
- Gently massage Transvasin into the affected area until it has been fully absorbed.
- The application should be applied at least twice daily until symptoms disappear.
- Wash hands after use
- As Transvasin is a heat rub it is normal for the skin to warm and redden
Transvasin Heat Rub Cream contains: Ethyl Nicotinate 2%w/w, Hexyl Nicotinate 2% w/w, Tetrahydrofurfuryl Salicylate 14% w/w. which are rubefacients, which cause the skin to redden and warm.
It also contains: cetostearyl alcohol, stearic acid, polysorbate 20, sorbitan monostearate, methyl hydroxybenzoate, perfume and purified water.
Before using Transvasin Heat Rub:
- Make sure Transvasin Heat Rub Cream is suitable for you to use - ask your doctor or pharmacist
- Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients listed
- Do not use on broken or sensitive skin
- Keep cream away from areas such as the eyes, genital areas, lips, inner mouth and nose, where soft skin may be more sensitive
- For external use only
- Do not use with occlusive dressings. ie, do not cover the treated area with a dressing
- If a rash develops, discontinue use of the product
- Avoid excessive exposure of the treated area to sunlight
- Care should be taken when used in pregnancy or breast feeding
- Contains methyl hydroxybenzoate which may cause delayed allergic reactions.
After Use:
If Transvasin Heat Rub causes a severe burning sensation, or blistering of the skin, stop using the cream and tell your doctor or pharmacist who will advise you on any necessary action to take.
If you notice any other effects not mentioned here, stop using the product and tell your doctor or pharmacist.
